It has been wonderful to see how our PN students easily settled back in school after the long weekend. This week, we focused on reviewing the letters A and B during English time. One game involved hunting for the letters A and B around the classroom, then sorting them into their respective letter baskets. The children were so engaged and enjoyed working together searching for all the letters hidden in the room. For Math, we continued to expand our knowledge of the number 3. We placed blocks on top of each other depending on the number labelled on the mat. This activity helped us to improve our number recognition, enhance our counting, and develop our fine motor skills. Lastly, we continued to familiarize ourselves with our classroom routine, rules, and the importance of keeping our desks and toys tidy. Keep up the good work, PN students!

Hello, October! The students were delighted to return to school after a long weekend. They had a great time sharing their experiences of how they celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day with their families and friends. In our Cambridge class, we kicked off a new topic - Animals. The students were thrilled to discuss their favourite animals and had a lot of fun making a farm animal craft. For Phonics, we reviewed letters A to J and focused on letters K and L this week. In Math, we revisited the numbers, shapes, and colours that we've learned in the first five weeks. It was an incredible week at school! Looking forward to seeing you all again next week!

Hello October! A whole month has passed and everyone in K2 is enjoying school very much. This week in Critical Thinking we’re learning about farm animals, the sounds and actions they make. We played a fun game where we pretended to be the different farm animals by doing actions and making the animal sounds.
We started a new topic in Cambridge lesson this week. We learned about the different rooms in a house and what furniture we need in each room. We also talked about the things we do in each room like the bedroom is for sleeping and the living room is for relaxing. At the end of the lesson, we had a day dream discussion where we described what we want in our dream house.
In Math lessons, we learned the numbers 1 to 10. We learned to count objects and put these numbers in order. We played a game in the play area where we were assigned to a number and had to line up in the correct order.

Welcome to week 6! Hope everyone had an awesome Mid-Autumn Festival and ate scrumptious mooncakes!
In this week, our K3 students have talked about what we can see and do on the farm for Critical Thinking. We read a story and learned what a farmer does on a farm. We thought mucking out the pigs is a yucky job!
For Math, the K3 students have learned what tally charts and bar graphs are. We used the tally chart to mark down everyone’s votes on their favourite animal and then made a bar graph to show the collected data clearly. We have also learned how to make good use of the graphs and find out more information about the votes, like the most popular animal and the total number of votes.
We have also discussed when we do different things in a day in our English lessons. We have learned how to talk about our daily routines and we have also reinforced our listening skills.

今週是主題「我的家」的最後一週,老師教導幼兒認識家居安全。老師讓幼兒一起進行情景遊戲,請幼兒向小朋友示範模擬在家中玩完玩具應該如何處理?讓幼兒向同伴示範收拾好玩具能夠避免絆倒受傷。
另外,老師讓幼兒一起唸讀兒歌「我家的房間」,老師向幼兒分享兒歌內容的意思,並請幼兒跟著一起唸讀。幼兒都很認真跟著老師唸兒歌呢!
幼兒繼續重溫認讀認字「口」,老師教導幼兒認識口的功用,讓小朋友分享他們會用「口」作甚麼用途。活動中,老師請幼兒模擬餵食物玩具予玩具娃娃,讓幼兒知「口」能夠進食食物。

主題:「我的家」─爸爸媽媽的愛
今週,我們展開新主題「我的家」。老師邀請幼兒跟同學們介紹自己的爸爸媽媽,幼兒介紹時都表現得特別興奮,更會模仿自己的爸爸媽媽。最後,幼兒表達對爸爸媽媽的愛,告訴大家:「我愛爸爸媽媽。」。
另外,透過角色扮演,幼兒模擬爸爸上班及媽媽照顧寶寶的情景,幼兒藉此加深認識爸爸媽媽的角色,體驗到爸爸媽媽對自己無微不至的愛。
幼兒更進行了各項學習活動,例如聽故事、唸兒歌和拼貼遊戲等,學習認讀「爸爸」、「媽媽」等字詞,初步認識新主題的詞彙。
學習目標: 1) 理解故事所表達的內容 2) 嘗試介紹自己的父母
3) 初步認識關愛家人的方法

主題----「玩具真好玩」
今週繼續主題「玩具真好玩」,幼兒在老師的引導下,知道能夠透過觀察玩具的顏色特徵加以描述,積極地與同學一同進行猜謎遊戲,並以句式描述出來讓其他同學知道自己最喜愛的玩具是甚麼。
此外,幼兒踴躍向老師分享自己家中有甚麼類型的玩具,亦透過影片和角色扮演學習進行遊戲時應注意的事項。他們亦積極嘗試以討論方式選出較安全和適齡的玩具。通過專注聆聽繪本故事讓幼兒認識玩具能自己製作,培養不任性要買更多玩具的健康習慣,養成不浪費的優良品質。

今週展開新的主題「動物」,老師透過短片分享,讓幼兒認識一般寵物如貓、狗、兔子、倉鼠、烏龜等的名稱、外形特徵和生活習性。老師也請幼兒分享在家中照顧小動物的經驗。
老師透過觀看影片,讓幼兒認識不同動物的本領,他們也會踴躍分享自己寵物的本領,十分投入。此外,幼兒探索導盲犬和動物醫生的工作,也知道可透過領養幫助被遺棄的動物。
學習目的:
1.認識一般常見寵物的名稱、外形特徵、習性
2.了解飼養寵物的條件及注意事項
3. 懂得愛護尊重小動物
