Hello everyone! Welcome to Week 9! This week was filled with excitement as we celebrated Halloween! Our PN friends had a blast at our Halloween party, where we dressed up in our favourite costumes. We went trick-or-treating around the classroom, singing spooky songs and collecting goodies. The joy on our faces was priceless! For English, we focused on the letter E and explored lovely words like egg, elbow, exit, and elephant. We enjoyed stomping around like elephants and bumping elbows with friends in the classroom! For Math, we learned about the beautiful colour yellow. The children played a sorting game where they separated red and yellow toys. They also had a fantastic time during our scavenger hunt, searching for yellow items hidden around the classroom! Overall, it was a week full of learning, laughter and festive spirit! We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Hello everyone! We’ve made it to Week 9 of our fun learning! With Halloween just a few days away, our classroom is filled with Halloween decorations and kids had a great time making their Halloween craft.
In Phonics, we focused on the letters T and U. For our Cambridge lessons, we started a fun new topic called My Senses. We talked about the five senses—hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, and feeling. We explored how we use each sense in our everyday lives. The students also practiced sentences like “Can you…?” with answers “Yes, I can” or “No, I can’t.”
In Math, we learned about the colour green and the number 6.

Welcome to another amazing week of learning! In this week, our K2 students had been super excited about the school’s Halloween Party on Thursday! Throughout the week, we talked about what we wanted to dress up as for Halloween, sang songs, and made a craft to take home! On the day of Halloween, everyone wore Halloween costumes to the party and had a blast! To celebrate our different fashion choices, all students took part in the Halloween Catwalk Show! Everyone took turns to walk down the runway and pose for the camera!
For Math, the K2 students have continued to do revisions on number sequencing from 1-20. It took some time for the students to learn how to write the numbers 11-20 without having to look at the numbers on the board, but eventually they all did it with perseverance.
In Cambridge lessons, we started a new unit on what we eat at different times of the day. We learned that we have breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and dinner at night. We read a story about a girl named Pat, who wants ice cream for her birthday. We also talked about other foods like eggs, chicken, salad and so on. We found out our students have tried a wide range of food!

Welcome to a brand-new week of fun learning in our K3 class. This week we stared a new topic in our Cambridge lesson about some fruits and vegetables we can find in the market. We started our discussion by naming all the fruits and vegetables we know and described some that our friends might not know. We learned a new group of vegetables called “greens” and this group refers to leafy and green vegetables we may find in the market.
We continued our lesson about Autumn in Critical Thinking lesson by reading a story called There was an Old Lady who Swallowed some Leaves. We followed up by creating a booklet about the order of things that this old lady swallowed. It was a great way to remember the story.
We practiced our counting skills in Math lesson by adding three numbers together. We learned that we have to add the first two numbers then add the third one to get the final answer. We were challenged with bigger and bigger numbers. We had a lot of fun counting faster than our friends and coming to the smart board to write the answers down.

今週是主題「我愛上學」的第三週,老師與幼兒一起認識書包内的物品及其功用。其後,老師與幼兒一起嘗試自行收拾書包。在茶點時間,幼兒能嘗試在書包内拿出毛巾、水瓶和餐盒,然後安靜坐在椅子上等候老師派發食物。茶點結束後,幼兒能自行把桌上的物品收進書包内。可見,幼兒又掌握了一樣自理技能,他們成長了!
另外,老師與幼兒一起唸讀兒歌《我愛幼稚園》老師向幼兒分享兒歌內容,並與幼兒一起唸讀兒歌。接著,老師與幼兒製作幼稚園的圖工,為幼稚園貼上校徽、校名和加上裝飾。最後,幼兒能模仿老師讀出句子:「我愛幼稚園!」。
幼兒認讀「耳」字,老師先教導幼兒辨認「耳」字的外形特徵,並分享耳朵的用途。老師與幼兒玩遊戲,幼兒嘗試用手掩著耳朵後觀察聲音的變化,用耳朵聆聽不同動物的聲音。課堂中,幼兒學會如何保護耳朵,並嘗試找出不同動物的耳朵然後說出「耳」。
學習目的:
1. 學習收拾書包的技能
2. 認讀「耳」字並了解其字意
3. 嘗試唸讀兒歌:《我愛幼稚園》

主題:「認識自己」─外貌和特徵
今週展開新主題「認識自己」。幼兒除了認識自己的名字外,也學習了介紹自己的性別和年齡。
另外,透過照鏡子和臉譜拼圖,幼兒認識自己的五官及四肢的位置及數量,並透過不同的活動,認識到每人都有不同的外貌及身體特徵,例如大眼睛、小眼睛、長頭髮、短頭髮等。
此外,幼兒更進行了嗅覺感官遊戲,透過聞一聞杯子,嘗試猜出杯子裏面的是甚麼,親身體驗鼻子的功用。
學習目標: 1) 認識每人都有不同的外貌和特徵
2) 學習介紹自己─姓名、年齡和性別
3) 認識鼻子的用途

主題----「動物」
今週展開了新的主題「動物」,透過動物的叫聲引起小朋友興趣,並一同討論有甚麼動物住在農埸,更嘗試模仿動物們行路的姿勢。其次,在老師的引導下,小朋友開始思考動物與人類之間的關係,例如:牛為人類提供牛奶、雞為人類提供雞蛋等等,動物為我們提供食物來源,小朋友學習珍惜食物。
另外,這週學習了一首新兒歌「熱鬧的農場」。小朋友根據兒歌的內容去創造動作,並嘗試改寫兒歌。除此以外,老師與幼兒一起重溫獨體字,並讓他們指出哪些字在結構上不能夠分拆開。
學習目的:
1) 說出農場裏有甚麼動物
2) 能口頭創作句子:(小牛)在農場裏吃草
3) 培養感恩動物對人類帶來的用處

主題----「動物」
今週已踏入主題「動物」的尾聲,幼兒透過影片及老師介紹認識不同卵生和胎生動物,他們積極地模仿當中動物,從而更了解當中的特徵及習性。此外,幼兒踴躍地參與遊戲區分不同類別,如爬行類、鳥類、魚類等動物,加深對各類動物名稱、特徵及習性的印象。
在幼兒認識動物會過冬後,老師藉著音樂讓他們感受並投入地用身體模仿動物睡覺的姿態。最後,老師與小朋友進行投票活動,選出他們心目中最喜歡動物,並利用統計表展示。亦讓幼兒對同組同學進行口頭訪問,分享喜歡該動物的原因。
學習目的:
1. 認識一般卵生爬行類和兩棲類動物的名稱、特徵及習性
2. 認識一般胎生哺乳類動物的名稱、特徵及習性
3. 知道有些動物會冬眠 4. 認識口頭訪問技巧
