This week, our Pre-nursery stars dove into the exciting world of sea transportation. They learned about boats, ships, and submarines while enjoying a hands-on Sink or Float experiment, where they tested different objects to see which ones stayed on the water and which ones sank—so much splashing fun!
For Letter U, we had a blast with two engaging activities: first, the children practiced writing the letter U in rainbow colours using crayons. Then, they went on a "Letter U Hunt" around the classroom, finding objects and pictures that start with U, like umbrella, up, and under.
In Math, our little learners explored patterns through a colourful "Sticker Pattern" activity, where they created AB sequences (like circle-square, circle-square) using bright stickers. They loved making their own pattern strips to take home! What a week of discovery, creativity, and learning! We can’t wait for more adventures next week. Stay tuned for more fun!

We have loved having our parents come in this week to watch our Cambridge lessons. We learned about items of clothing through various games and activities, while practicing the sentence structure, “I’m wearing …” We were also able to show our parents how independent we have become as we completed challenging listening exercises from our SuperMinds Starters book throughout the week. In Critical Thinking this week, we recapped our modes of land transport and introduced some modes of water and air transport too. We also completed our HK Taxi craft from last week by drawing on doors, windows, and passengers; what a great exercise for our fine motor skills. In Math, we did another experiment of mixing colours; mixing red and blue to make purple. It was tricky to get the shade of purple we wanted but that was a great way to demonstrate the importance experimenting and trying different ways. It’s been an eventful week and we look forward to more fun next week.

What an exciting week of new learning! This week we had our parents joining us for Cambridge lessons as we learnt about the rooms in our house as well as finding the relating activity or objects belonging to each of the room. We practiced describing objects by using the target sentence “There’s a / there are”.
For Math this week, we have started doing some practice on subtraction. We used real objects to grasp the concept of “taking away” the number as well as using the number line to help us find the answer. We also used a lot of classroom objects to learn about the concept of “counting in 2s”.
It’s all about travelling in Critical Thinking lesson. We are having a great blast learning about our friends’ travels over the holidays by listening to their Show and Tell. K2 students brought pictures and souvenirs from their travels to share and gave great descriptions of the places they saw and the things they did. We all can’t wait for next week’s upcoming lessons as we eagerly prepare for a thrilling airplane roleplay, embarking on our own K2 journey. See you next week!

Hello and welcome back to another exciting week with our K3 friends!
This week in our Cambridge class, we began exploring various types of gadgets! Our friends had a great time learning about the evolution of technology and its significance in our daily lives. We covered everything from the earliest inventions to the latest cutting-edge devices. We also incorporated these gadgets into our lessons on comparatives and superlatives, finding it fascinating to compare older devices with modern ones while discussing their efficiency and user-friendliness.
In our Critical Thinking class, we took a deeper dive into our ongoing space project. It was truly rewarding to witness our friends fully engaged in their tasks, their faces glowing with genuine excitement and curiosity. They put in a lot of effort into the project, eagerly discovering more about space and unraveling its mysteries like a giant puzzle!
In our final Math session, we continued our journey into fractions. Our classmates expanded their understanding of denominators and numerators! It was delightful to see how our friends applied these concepts to real-life situations, especially when it came to sharing!
And that’s a wrap for this week! We hope you enjoyed reading about the thrilling learning adventures of our K3 friends! Until next week!
