This week, our little explorers took a thrilling ride through Hong Kong's transportation system! They discovered our city's iconic double-decker buses, trams, and the famous Star Ferry through an exciting Transportation Matching Game, where they matched vehicles to land, water, and air categories.  For English we had fun learning Letter V, we had a vibrant time with two activities: first, the children crafted cute "V is for Volcano" art using red and orange tissue paper for lava bursts! Then, they went on a "Vocabulary Hunt" to find and name V words like violin, van, and vegetables.  In Maths, we revisited numbers 1–10 with an engaging "Number Hopscotch" game—jumping, counting, and giggling as they landed on each number.  What a fantastic week of learning through play! Stay tuned for more fun next week.

K1

We had another fun filled week this week in K1. We expanded on our topic of transportation in Critical Thinking and with Dragon Boat Festival coming up, we even tried out rowing our own boats using sticks and chairs and singing along to the classic song, “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”. The students got to see how a dragon boat team does it and then learn to hold and move the paddle correctly. We really enjoyed that role play. In Physical Play, we had the opportunity to get our hands on some new blocks. We worked on some gross motor skills and sharpened our teamwork skills building creative castles and tall tipsy towers while having a great time. We also set to work tuning up our phonics with some review games and putting the pencil to paper, flexing our writing skills on our latest sounds. This week has sure been a ride and we are excited to see what the road has for next week.

K2

Welcome back to another wonderful week in K2! This week, we took some time to revisit and practice our blending and decoding skills, helping us become confident and independent readers. We also had fun reviewing our favorite lessons with our Super Mind friends, making sure we remembered all the amazing superpowers they shared with us!

In Math, we continued exploring subtraction and practiced counting in groups of 5. The highlight of our week was creating our special boarding passes to travel to our dream destinations! We loved sharing our travel adventures and listening to our friends’ exciting stories.

We also celebrated our friends' achievements at the monthly PathFinder Awards Ceremony, recognizing their hard work and kindness.

It’s been an incredible week, and we’re all looking forward to an exciting week ahead!

K3

We’re absolutely thrilled to have you join us for another exciting episode of our K3 journey!

This week kicked off with a surge of excitement as our enthusiastic friends ventured into the fascinating world of the Space Museum! The visit was an incredible opportunity for everyone to gain invaluable hands-on experience. Our friends immersed themselves in the wonders of space exploration, allowing them to delve deeper into the intriguing subjects related to our ongoing Space Projects. This experience not only enriched their understanding but also sparked a newfound curiosity and passion for the mysteries of the universe. We can't wait to see how these insights will enhance their projects and inspire future explorations!

In our Math class, we learned more about fractions, especially quarters! We discovered how quarters work, practicing by dividing things into four equal parts. For example, we saw how a pizza can be split into four slices or a clock into quarters. Through fun activities, we got better at understanding how to use quarters in both math problems and everyday life. Then, in our subtraction lessons, we focused on enhancing our borrowing skills while tackling double-digit equations. It was wonderful to observe the children applying their existing knowledge, such as starting with the ones place before moving to the tens place, and developing their understanding as they progressed.

And that’s a wrap for this week! Hope everyone enjoyed this episode of our journey! Until next time!
