Hello everyone! It’s only our second week back from the holidays, and we’ve already had so many grand adventures!
We began our week with our favorite lesson—letters! We moved on from the letter M to the letter N, having lots of fun tracing our letters and matching words.
This week, we also learned about healthy food and had a great time painting our favorite fruits. We talked about the foods we like and don’t like—now we’re experts at sharing our favorite foods!
To wrap up the week, we explored a fun new shape: a star! It was a bit tricky to trace, but we did our best—and now we know so many shapes!
We had an amazing time this week with both new friends and old, and we can’t wait for another adventure next week. See you then!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our ABC Blog!
This week in Phonics, we focused on the sounds /u/ and /v/. In our Cambridge unit, "At the Zoo," students learned how to ask, “What is your favourite animal?” and respond with, “My favourite animal is…” They also enjoyed a heart-warming story about friendship.
In Math, students were introduced to ABAB patterns and practiced counting up to 11.
For Critical Thinking, we explored character awareness by discussing bravery and courage. We talked about different ways to be brave and identified scenarios where students can demonstrate bravery at school. Additionally, we read a story titled "I Am Brave!"
That wraps up our activities for this week! We look forward to seeing you next week.

Welcome to Week 3! This week, the K2 students explored the value of responsibility. We discussed what responsibility means—taking the initiative to do what we are supposed to do without needing reminders so that others can trust us. Responsibility also includes taking care of ourselves! Additionally, we began creating a responsibility poster to showcase examples of how we can be responsible.
In Math, the K2 students continued learning about combinations. This week, they were introduced to the '+' symbol and learned the general concept of addition. To reinforce their understanding, we completed a class revision worksheet. We also started counting from 51 to 70, with students eagerly participating by going up to the smartboard to find and color a number.
In our Cambridge lessons, we began a new unit about being at school. We learned about school supplies and practiced asking and answering simple questions using "Is this...?" The students engaged in fun conversations about classroom items, making the learning experience both interactive and enjoyable!

Welcome to another exciting week of learning in our K3 classrooms!
During Physical Play, we continued our Let’s Get Physical Challenge with an activity called “Wall Throws.” The challenge was to throw a ball against a wall and catch it three consecutive times. Students had to determine the right amount of strength needed for their throws to successfully catch the ball.
In Math lesson, students learned about comparing volumes. The lesson began with two different containers, where students guessed the container that had the larger volume. To test their predictions, we poured water into each container to see which held more. The container that held more water indicated a larger volume, while the one that held less had a smaller volume.
For Critical Thinking, we explored the important concept of “Perseverance.” This refers to the determination to pursue a goal or complete a task despite challenges. Students closed their eyes and reflected on a recent difficult experience where they pushed themselves and refused to give up. Afterward, they completed a worksheet on this topic, drawing and writing about a remarkable moment when they demonstrated great perseverance.

主題:「衣服/我的身體」-神奇的身體
今週的是「我的身體」第二個星期了,幼兒從這個主題中認識到自己五官的功用,透過聞氣味遊戲中,更發現自己的鼻子能辨別不同的氣味,更輕易地在枱面找出與氣味相配的水果,小朋友都樂在其中。老師更利用神秘箱放進不同的物品讓幼兒觸摸,他們初次嘗試用手的觸感辨別箱裡的物品,真的新奇又有趣啊!
老師利用體能遊戲-行平衡木,幼兒嘗試利用腳平衡自己的身體走過平衡木,不但達到鍛煉幼兒四肢的協調能力,同時讓幼兒從活動中得到快樂的感覺。

主題----「 農場」
這週的「農場」主題學習計劃聚焦在動物繁殖方式的多樣性上。透過認識卵生動物和胎生動物,幼兒將探索生命的奧秘和多樣性。
首先,透過雞蛋引導幼兒認識蛋的特徵,引發對卵生動物的興趣,如雞、蛇、龜、青蛙等。不同動物的蛋擁有獨特的花紋和顏色,讓幼兒了解卵生動物是如何從蛋中孵化出生的。
接著,幼兒將探索不同動物的繁殖方式。從農場胎生動物如牛、豬、羊到動物園中的獅子、大象、猴、老虎等,幼兒將比較不同的繁殖方式,深入了解生命的多樣性。
在認識牛的活動中,幼兒將學習牛的外形特徵和特有聲音,並探索不同品種,如黃牛和乳牛。介紹乳牛所提供的寶貴牛奶資源,並了解牛奶的多樣用途,如製作芝士、牛油和奶粉,同時認識牛奶的營養價值。
學習目的:

2) 認識胎生的動物
3) 認識牛的外形特徵和聲音

主題----「 植物與小昆蟲」
今週繼續是「植物與小昆蟲」的學習主題,老師運用圖片讓小朋友認識不同品種的植物,例如有洋紫荊、仙人掌、豬籠草和含羞草等,小朋友亦嘗試形容植物的外形及特徵,老師提醒幼兒用眼睛觀看植物不要用手觸摸,因為植物是有生命的,請好好愛護植物。
另外,透過觀看硬幣小朋友發現有洋紫荊圖案,更知道洋紫荊是香港市花。
其次,小朋友認識仙人掌、洋紫荊、菊花和含羞草的讀音及字義,更讀出句式「_____是我最喜歡的植物。」,並與同學分享自己喜歡的植物。最後,老師帶領小朋友聆聽了「愚公移山」的成語故事,讓幼兒學習堅毅不撓的精神,努力做好每件事。
學習目的:
1) 認識不同種類植物的名稱、形態和特徵
2) 知道洋紫荊是香港市花
3) 培養愛護植物的態度

今週繼續探索主題「我愛大自然」,老師透過短片介紹不同的天氣景象,包括晴天、雨天、行雷及閃電等,也讓幼兒知道因應天氣變化會進行的不同活動。
幼兒透過分享郊遊的經驗,說說應帶備的物品,如:太陽帽、蚊怕水及太陽眼鏡……然後,老師利用遊戲並與幼兒討論遊覽郊野公園的注意事項,如:不要採摘花朵,要愛護植物、不要亂拋垃圾,要愛護環境等。

1. 學習不同的天氣景象
2. 說出郊遊時處理垃圾的正確方法
