Hello, everyone! Our PN friends had another fun-filled and exciting week at ABC!
This week, we started a new theme from our Pippa and Pop textbook, focusing on pets. We were thrilled to share our favorite pets and talk about the animals we love. From fluffy cats to playful dogs—and even some exotic pets like turtles and parrots—we had so much to say! As part of this theme, we also learned how to care for a pet dog. We discovered that dogs need love, care, and attention, just like we do!
For English, we revisited the letters M and N. We practiced identifying objects that start with these letters and sorted them into the correct beginning-letter baskets. We did an amazing job recognizing items like mouse, moon, nest, and nose!
For Math, we introduced a beautiful color—green. We explored how this color appears in nature, such as in leaves, grass, and frogs. We had so much fun running around and discovering green objects around the classroom!

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to our ABC Blog!
This week in Phonics, we focused on the sounds /w/ and /x/. In our Cambridge lesson, we began a new unit entitled "My Food." We were introduced to key vocabulary words such as milk, oranges, cakes, tomatoes, and chocolate. The students practiced constructing sentences using "I like..." and "I don't like..." to express their preferences, which encouraged them to share their favorite foods.
In Math, we explored the color silver and continued learning about ABAB patterns. The children also practiced counting up to 12.
For Critical Thinking, we read the story "The Three Little Pigs" and discussed how the Pigs demonstrated bravery throughout the story.

Welcome to Week 4!
This week, the K2 students continued exploring the topic of responsibility. We finished our responsibility poster and wrote down examples of how we can be responsible. We also read a story called “I’ll Do It” and learned that as we grow up, we can learn to do things by ourselves. Additionally, we discovered that people can trust us with important tasks if we show that we are responsible.
In Math, the K2 students began learning the concept of addition. We used pictures to help them understand how to add two numbers together to find the sum. The students also practiced counting from 51 to 70. We continued the game from last week, and it seems like everyone is getting the hang of counting larger numbers!
During our Cambridge lessons, we continued exploring the topic of school supplies and practiced giving commands using different verbs such as "write," "sit," and "pass." The students also read a funny story about Flash and her classroom supplies, which made everyone burst into laughter!

Hello everyone and welcome to another week of learning in K3. This week we continued our Cambridge topic on Subjects by reading the story about Ben and Lucy, the new characters in our book. It seems they have a lot of challenges ahead of them just like us here in K3. We learned to apply the words before, after, every day and every week in our sentences as part of our Language focus for the week.
We started a new concept in our Math lesson and we are learning about money denomination. We learned to identify different Hong Kong notes and will learn more about them in the coming weeks ahead. We have class store where we can use these notes to practice recognising the amount in the store items and paying with the correct notes. It was a great way to learn about buying and paying in shops.
After months of work and creating, our project presentation day is almost here. We are so excited to share and talk about our work as it revolves around the topic of Toys and Transportation. Have great week and see you in the next English Blog.

主題:「衣服/我的身體」-衣服真有用
今週的主題是「衣服」,幼兒從這個主題中認識到不同種類的衣服,在過程中幼兒們發現衣服上有不同設計及圖案,他們明白到衣服除了可以保護身體的私隱,亦可以保暖。老師讓幼兒認識衣服的功用外,亦讓幼兒嘗試學習收拾衣服保持整齊。幼兒們都十分認真地把衣服左摺右搭,值得欣賞!
老師讓幼兒在遊戲中,幼兒都很落力在家找尋老師指出的衣服穿上,對於雨衣的衣料大測試,老師把水灑在雨衣上,讓幼兒感受到雨衣神奇的防水功能,大家真的是從遊戲上學習啊!
幼兒觸摸不同的布料來認識布字,從中感受到布料有的厚,有的薄,有的滑滑的,有的毛毛的,大家都有個新奇的體驗。

2. 認識不同衣服的質料
3. 懂得分別衣服的種類

主題----「 農場」
本週將是「農場」主題的最後一週。老師與幼兒一起探索農夫的工作和責任,包括觀察農夫的各種工作,像是翻土、播種、灌溉和施肥等。幼兒通過活動認識到農夫在種植和收穫食物過程中付出的辛勞和努力,讓幼兒知道食物來源。
同時,老師引導幼兒認識各種不同的蔬菜和水果等農作物,這些都是農夫辛苦耕耘後的成果。幼兒學習如何珍惜食物,並學會避免浪費食物。透過兒歌,老師教導幼兒食物的價值和來源,以及珍惜食物。
除此之外,老師嘗試與幼兒認識土種和水種這兩種不同的耕種方法。透過觀察圖片和影片,幼兒看到土種和水種的實際耕種情況,並討論它們之間的區別,包括作物生長環境和水分來源等方面的差異。這些活動讓幼兒更好地理解和欣賞農業的重要性。

2) 學習珍惜食物,不要浪費

主題----「 植物與小昆蟲」
今週繼續延續探討「植物與小昆蟲」的學習主題。這週,老師引導小朋友認識香港較常見的昆蟲,例如:蜜蜂、蝴蝶、蜻蜓和瓢蟲等等,幼兒互相討論與學習昆蟲的身體構造及習性,小朋友都踴躍分享自己曾看到或接觸昆蟲的經歷。
其次,老師與幼兒的一起重溫語文元素中代表「地點」的詞語,他們能選擇出合適的「地點」詞語填充在句子內。最後,老師介紹「狐假虎威」的成語故事,透過故事讓小朋友明白不能仗著有權者的威勢欺壓他人、作威作福。
學習目的:
1) 認識昆蟲身體主要部份的名稱及特徵
2) 口語訓練 : 「_______在花間飛舞。 」
3) 培養做事誠實守信的態度

今週繼續探索主題「我愛大自然」,老師利用影片和遊戲介紹植物健康生長的必要條件,如:植物盆、泥土、水、空氣等,也請幼兒分享種植植物的經驗及樂趣。
然後,老師利用圖片介紹一些常見的種子及其功用,如:蘋果、橙、西瓜、葡萄、南瓜等。透過聆聽故事,讓幼兒知道有些種子種出來的果實很特別,會埋藏在地下的,如:花生。最後,幼兒閱讀故事和互相討論,藉此培養幼兒愛護花草樹木的正確態度。

1. 認識植物生長的過程
2. 認識一些常見的種子及其功用
